During the last three years he has served as a non-executive Director with Baneasa Developments and other affiliated real estate development ventures. From 2001 to 2007 George held various executive positions with Romtelecom S.A., the incumbent Romanian telecommunications operator, where he significantly contributed in transforming the company to produce record profitability levels. Prior to moving to Romania, he held financial management positions in various industries including the Financial Manager role of the construction joint venture that developed Attiki Odos, the Athens ring road 2 billion worth project and the Financial Controller of Accas Ten Cate Group. George is an Engineer of the University of Crete and holds an MBA in International Finance from McGill University - Montreal, Canada.Cristian Bilan // Country Manager, Iron MountainCristian is currently the Managing Director of Iron Mountain Romania a business he took over back in 2006. Licensed in Economy he graduated of Financial and Administrative Management faculty and studied strategy and performance management within Henley School of Business. In the past 15 years he has held several management roles in countries across Central Europe and Latin America (Argentina) covering different industries such as Network business development, Store Management and Convenience Retailing within Shell.Bram Boon // CEO, ING AsigurariBram Boon joined ING Group in 1983 and since then has held several managerial positions at ING business units in Australia, the Netherlands, Romania, Indonesia and most recently in Greece. He has a Master’s Degree from both Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and Universiteit van Amsterdam, and also holds several other prestigious professional degrees - MBA at the Erasmus University Rotterdam and ΜΒΑ from CEDEP (Fontainebleau, France). Bram Boon has returned to Romania after a previous CEO appointment at ING Life Insurance Romania between 2004 and 2008. In his previous CEO mandate in Romania, Bram Boon became a well-regarded executive who played an important role in the strong growth of the life insurance business as well as the very successful entrance of ING to Romania’s second pillar pension market.Mihai Guia // Managing Partner, Eversheds Lina & GuiaMihai is the Managing Partner of Eversheds Lina & Guia, the Romanian arm of the leading international law firm Eversheds. Mihai is also a board member of Eversheds International and now supervises the entire CEE region within Eversheds. Mihai is a graduate of both Paris I Pantheon-Sorbonne University and Bucharest University, and his post graduate studies include the prestigious Harvard Leadership Training. Mihai set-up his own law firm in 2006, creating the basis of the future association with Eversheds.Henk Paardekooper // President & CEO, RBS BankHenk Paardekooper is the CEO of RBS Romania. Henk’s career comprises well over 20 years of international banking experience. Previously, Henk was Head of RBS Corporate and Institutional Assets, based in London as part of the Non Core Division. From 2004 to 2010, Henk was CEO of RBS Russia where he expanded the business, successfully integrated ABN AMRO into RBS and led the franchise through the financial crisis. In addition to this, he took up the responsibilities for Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan. He built his career entirely within RBS (previously ABN AMRO), starting as management trainee in 1989. Henk holds an MA in Econometrics from Erasmus University in Rotterdam.Gabriel Pantelimon // General Manager, XeroxGabriel Pantelimon has a degree from the Bucharest Politechnic Institute. He attended the courses between 1988 and 1993, studying the Management of Technological Systems, machines-tools specialisation. Between 1995 and 1997 he attended the European Area Studies courses at University of Surrey, England and obtained the Master of Arts degree. He finalised his MBA degree at Bucharest School of Management, Summa Cum Laude in 2007. His business activity is mainly linked with Xerox were he started in 1997 within the sales department. He had several roles in the company: Key Account Manager, Xerox Business Services Manager and Direct Sales Manager. He moved to regional positions in 2008, at Xerox Central Eastern Europe, Israel and Turkey division, holding positions as Global Accounts Manager and Sales and Marketing Director. Starting with 1 November 2010, he is Country General Manager for Xerox Romania.Yilmaz Yildirimlar // General Director, Radisson Blu HotelYilmaz is currently the General Manager of the Radisson Blu Hotel in Bucharest and has been appointed District Director with Carlson Rezidor for South - East Europe. He is coordinating five hotels in Romania, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Croatia and Bulgaria. Yilmaz started his career within Rezidor Group, at Radisson BLU Palais Hotel, Vienna in 1995. His professional growth was also academically sustained, with an MBA in Finance, CPE Programme BAHA at Oxford Brooks University, BA in Hotel & Restaurant Management at Washington State University, USA.
